About this Service
- What is Skyliner e-ticket?
- It is a service to purchase Skyliner and other tickets on the internet for non-Japanese citizens.
- Can everybody use the service?
- This service is provided only to non-Japanese citizens. However, customers with Japanese nationality can also use this service if they use Airport Access Navi and Face Check in Go.
- May Japanese nationals residing abroad use this service when visiting Japan?
- This service is provided only to non-Japanese citizens. In principle, customers with Japanese nationality cannot use this service (except for those who use Airport Access Navi and Face Check in Go).
- Can non-Japanese citizens use the service inside Japan?
- You may use the service if you are non-Japanese.
- Is the price the same even if I purchase a ticket at a station to use on the day?
- We sell Skyliner one-way tickets at non-discounted prices in stations. We do not sell Skyliner round-trip tickets in stations. The price of the Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket is the same if you purchase a ticket at a station to use on the day. However, when purchasing a ticket at a station to use on the day, it is only possible to pay in cash (Japanese yen).
Purchase
- What is required to use Skyliner e-ticket?
- A. You can purchase with a credit card or Alipay+ or WeChat Pay. A passport is required when receiving the tickets.
- When is the purchase price deducted from the credit card?
- It is deducted when purchasing the tickets.
- From when can I purchase the tickets?
- The purchase may be made from 30 days prior to the day you wish to board a train.
- What is the maximum number of tickets which can be purchased at one time?
- Tickets for the total of 8 passengers may be purchased at one time, but only if reserving the same type of ticket.
- Can I purchase a Skyliner one-way ticket for one person and Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway ticket for one person at the same time?
- You need to purchase these separately by ticket type. You can only purchase one type of ticket at a time.
- Can I purchase just a Tokyo Subway Ticket?
- You can only purchase Skyliner one-way tickets, Skyliner round-trip tickets and Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Tickets (a Skyliner ticket and Tokyo Subway Ticket set) on this site. We do not sell just Tokyo Subway Ticket.
- Are all passengers required to enter email addresses?
- The information of one person as a representative will be enough.
- I have not received the confirmation email after the purchase. What should I do?
- It could happen that the email was not delivered due to typos in the entered email address or anti-spam measures. Please check the email address you entered. If there are no mistakes in the email address, then check the settings for your anti-spam measures.
- How can I inform my accompanying passengers of the information?
- Please click on the button [Email information to accompanying passengers] on purchase completed page. Then a mailer will start up. By entering the email address of the addressee, you may send her/him the purchase information.
- What is the maximum number of purchases per person?
- The maximum number of tickets which may be purchased at one time is 8 tickets (only if they are the same ticket type), but there are no limits on the number of purchases per person.
- Can I transfer the rights to others?
- No.
Ticket Reception/Boarding
- Can I board the train at a station different from which I have designated when purchase?
- Yes. However, when using Face Check in Go, you cannot board stations other than the designated station.
- What is required when exchanging the tickets at a counter?
- The exchange number or a QR code and your passport to present when receiving the tickets. (However, when using Airport Access Navi and Face Check in Go, you do not need to present your passport).
- If I have purchased a Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket, can I exchange the exchange number at Nippori Station and Keisei Ueno Station?
- No. If you have purchased a Keisei & Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket, you must exchange your exchange number for the ticket at the Narita Airport Station / Airport Terminal 2 Station Liner Ticket Sales Counter, the SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER.
- If I have purchased a Keisei Skyliner round-trip ticket, can I exchange the exchange number at Nippori Station and Keisei Ueno Station?
- No, if you have purchased a Skyliner round-trip ticket, you must exchange your exchange number for the ticket at the Narita Airport Station / Airport Terminal 2 Station Liner Ticket Sales Counter, the SKYLINER & KEISEI INFORMATION CENTER.
Skyliner and other tickets
- Can I board the Evening Line and Morning Liner with a Skyliner ticket?
- No.
- What trains can I ride with the Tokyo Subway Ticket?
- You can ride all lines on the Tokyo Metro and Toei Subway. Please ask a member of staff for more details.
- Do I need to specify a seat when using the Tokyo Subway Ticket?
- No.
- I will use the Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket, but do the day I use the Skyliner ticket and the day I use the Tokyo Subway Ticket have to be the same?
- No. However, you must use the Tokyo Subway Ticket within six months after you exchange it from the exchange number.
- If I will use the Skyliner round-trip ticket, when do I specify the seating position and car number on the Skyliner on the return trip?
- When you use the Skyliner round–trip ticket, we will give you a Skyliner ticket for your outward trip and an exchange ticket for your return trip. Before boarding the Skyliner on your return trip, please present this return trip exchange ticket and then tell a member of staff your desired seat position and car number.
Changes/Cancellation
- What should I do if the number of passengers increases from when I made my purchase?
- Please display the “Purchase Information Details” page on this website, cancel the applicable purchase, and then make a new purchase again with the correct number of passengers.
- What should I do if the number of passengers decreases from when I made my purchase?
- The tickets will be issued in the actual number of passengers.
- I have purchased Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket one-way 24-hour ticket. However, can I change this to a Keisei Skyliner & Tokyo Subway Ticket round-trip 48-hour ticket?
- Please display the “Purchase Information Details” page from this site and then cancel the applicable purchase before making a new purchase.
- What if I want to cancel?
- Please go to "Purchase Information Details" page in this website and cancel the concerned purchase. When cancelling, please enter the PIN that was attached to the payment completed email.
- What if I want to change the day I board Skyliner.
- Please go to "Purchase Information Details " page in this website and cancel the concerned purchase.
- What if I forgot the exchange number?
- Please go to " Purchase Information Details" page in this website and display the information of the concerned purchase to review the exchange number.
- I have purchased tickets for the section between Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station and Ueno Station with a Skyliner one-way ticket. Can I change the section on which I take Skyliner to the section between Narita Airport Terminal 2・3 Station and Nippori after the purchase?
- Yes. Please ask the staff for changing the section when receiving the tickets.
- What if I mistook "adult" for "child" when entering information?
- Please go to "Purchase Information Details" page in this website, cancel the concerned purchase and then make a new purchase again with the right classification of adult and child.
- Provided that we board the Skyliner at Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station and that one of us gets off at Nippori while another gets off at Ueno, what should we do?
- Please purchase tickets for Ueno and get off at Nippori.
- Can accompanying passengers board even if the representative person unexpectedly become unavailable?
- Accompanying passengers may not board if the representative person is unavailable. Please go to "Purchase Information Details" page in this website, cancel the concerned purchase and then make a new purchase again in the name of a person who is available.
- After purchasing, if the validity period expires without the tickets being received, will a refund be issued automatically?
- If the validity period expires, a refund cannot be issued. After purchasing, if the tickets are no longer needed, please cancel the applicable purchase within the validity period.
About Face Check in Go (Facial recognition)
- What is Face Check in Go?
- With this service, registering your face information when purchasing a discount Skyliner ticket online means you do not need to exchange anything at the service counter of your boarding station, and lets you board a Skyliner by issuing a boarding ticket or limited express ticket for the nearest departing Skyliner by verifying your face when passing through the ticket gate. For details, please see the How to Use page.
- Which tickets can be used with Face Check in Go?
- Only one-way tickets can be used. If using Face Check in Go for a round trip, you need to buy separate one-way tickets for your outbound and return trips.
- What should I do when using Face Check in Go?
- Proceed with your purchase the same way as with a standard Skyliner e-ticket. You can use the Face Check in Go service by registering your face information after your purchase is completed, by using the camera function on your smartphone, personal computer, or other device on the face information registration page.
- Do I need to specify the number of tickets purchased when registering face information?
- Face information only for one representative is required when registering. When you verify your face when passing through the ticket gate at your boarding station, the purchased number of tickets will be issued, so everyone accompanying you can pass through together after the representative completes facial recognition.
- What should I do if I don’t want to register face information?
- We handle personal information in an appropriate manner in accordance with our company’s terms of use. However, if you do not register your face information, you cannot use Face Check in Go.
- What should I do if I want to change the boarding section?
- Display the purchase details screen from this site, and purchase again after cancelling your previous purchase.
- How can I board the train with Face Check in Go?
- Verify your face with the tablet installed at the ticket gate with facial verification at your boarding station. A ticket will be issued from the ticket machine after verification is completed. Take your ticket and arrive at your designated seat after boarding the Skyliner listed on the ticket. At Nippori Station, a ticket gate with facial verification is only installed at the northern ticket gate (Ticket gate A). For details, please see the How to Use page.
- Which Skyliners are designated for Face Check in Go?
- The tickets issued when passing through the ticket gate at your boarding station are designated for the most recent departing Skyliner at your boarding station. This does not apply for Skyliner trains that are full.
- With Face Check in Go, until how many minutes before departure is the most recent Skyliner designated?
- It is up to 2 minutes before departure with consideration to the time it takes to move there. If there are less than 2 minutes before departure, the next Skyliner is designated.
- Can I designate my own seat with Face Check in Go?
- You cannot designate your seat(s), but when you reserve seats for multiple passengers in a single application, adjacent seats that are next to each other will be designated. Please note that if the train is crowded then there are times when the adjacent seats will not be designated. If you want to designate your seat(s), please bring the exchange number or exchange QR code to the counter.
- With Face Check in Go, how do I depart my alighting station?
- Pass through the manned counter at each station.
- I registered my face information with Face Check in Go. What should I do if the Skyliner I want to board is not the one that is departing next?
- Bring your exchange number or exchange QR code to the counter.
- How can I board if I cannot use Face Check in Go?
- If for some reason you cannot use the Face Check in Go service or if service is suspended, bring your exchange number or exchange QR code to the counter.
