2.Acquisition of personal data

In connection with the goods and services and associated customer services which Keisei Electric Railway provides to Users, Keisei Electric Railway may acquire the following data out of the personal data (Personal data means any and all information concerning identified or identifiable natural persons. The same applies in the following.) which Keisei Electric Railway requests of Users or which Users voluntarily provide.

3. Purpose and legal basis of personal data acquisition

The acquisition and handling of personal data by Keisei Electric Railway occurs for the purposes and on the legal basis set forth below.

1. 1. When used for the goods and services of Keisei Electric Railway
   Purpose: Fulfillment of contracts for goods and services or execution of matters prior to contract conclusion.
   Legal basis: When data handling is required for contract fulfillment or for fulfilling procedures for requests prior to contract conclusion.
   When data handling is required for the pursuit of legitimate interests of Keisei Electric Railway, i.e., for normal operations of Keisei Electric Railway such as enhancing the convenience of goods and services.
2. 2. When customers use the customer services associated with goods and services of Keisei Electric Railway
   Purpose: Provision of customer services associated with goods and services of Keisei Electric Railway.
   Legal basis: When data handling is required for contract fulfillment or for fulfilling procedures for requests prior to contract conclusion.
   When data handling is required for the pursuit of legitimate interests of Keisei Electric Railway, i.e., for normal operations of Keisei Electric Railway such as dealing with inquiries concerning goods and services and enhancing the convenience of customer services.

4. Transfer of personal date out of the EEA

In order to attain the purposes of personal data handling set forth above in section 3, Keisei Electric Railway may transfer personal data of Users to countries outside the EEA.
In countries outside the EEA, the rights of similar data subjects (identified or identifiable natural persons) as under the European General Data Protection Regulations ("GDPR") may not be recognized and data may be transferred without protection measures such as standard contract clauses to a country where the European Commission has not determined the adequacy of personal data protection.

5. Retention period of personal data

Keisei Electric Railway retains personal data of Users for the duration that Keisei Electric Railway provides Users with goods and services and associated customer services for as long as such need continues, and promptly deletes the data when the need has ceased to exist.

6. Consent and withdrawal of consent

1. 6.1 The acquisition of personal data and data transfer to countries outside the EEA is subject to the consent of Users by acceptance of the Privacy Policy. Based on this consent, Keisei Electric Railway acquires and transfers personal data of User to countries outside the EEA in order to attain the purposes of personal data handling set forth in item 3 above. Consent of Users under the age of 16 requires either the consent of a parent or guardian or permission from a parent or guardian.
2. 6.2 Users can at any time withdraw consent pursuant to the previous paragraph. However, withdrawal has no effect on lawful data handling based on consent prior to withdrawal.

7. Rights of Users

1. 7.1 Users have the right to require of Keisei Electric Railway access to their personal data.
2. 7.2 Users have the right to require the correction of inaccuracy in their personal data held by Keisei Electric Railway.
3. 7.3 Users have the right to require the deletion of their personal data held by Keisei Electric Railway if any of the grounds set forth in article 17(1) applies, provided, however, that none of the grounds applies that are set forth in article 17(3).
4. 7.4 Users have the right to require restrictions on the processing of their personal data held by Keisei Electric Railway if any of the grounds applies that are set forth in article 18(1) of the GDPR.
5. 7.5 Users have the right to require the transfer of their personal data either to themselves or to a third party if any of the grounds applies that are set forth in article 20(1) of the GDPR.
6. 7.6 Users have the right to file an objection against Keisei Electric Railway in the case set forth in article 21(1) of the GDPR.
7. 7.7 Users have the right to file a complaint with the supervisory authority having jurisdiction over the handling of personal data of Users.

8. Disclosure of personal data

Keisei Electric Railway discloses no personal data to third parties other than service providers under non-disclosure agreements with Keisei Electric Railway. However, personal data may be provided to a third party if any of the following applies.

2. 2. If permitted under the Personal Information Protection Act and other laws and regulations.
3. 3. If disclosure is required based on laws and regulations or by a court of law, public prosecutor's office, police, bar association, or other public agency.
4. 4. If necessary in the judgment of Keisei Electric Railway for protecting the life or preventing personal injury or property damage of a third party.
5. 5. If necessary in the judgment of Keisei Electric Railway for protecting the rights, property, and services, etc., of Keisei Electric Railway from Users' breach of laws, regulations, and related rules, etc.
6. 6. If the cooperation is required in the performance of statutorily prescribed matters by a national agency, local public body, or a person mandated by either.
7. 7. If disclosure is made by Keisei Electric Railway in anonymized format as statistical information aggregated for the purpose of research and analysis of usage trends relating to the goods and services and associated customer services of Keisei Electric Railway.

9. Provision and non-provision of personal data

Since the provision of Users' personal data is a necessary requirement for Keisei Electric Railway to offer Users goods and services and associated customer services, Keisei Electric Railway may be unable, in part or in total, to provide goods and services and associated customer services of Keisei Electric Railway when the provision of personal data is denied.

10. Other matters

1. 10.1 Keisei Electric Railway reserves the right to change all or part of its Privacy Policy.
2. 10.2 Depending on GDPR and other laws and regulations, data handling at Keisei Electric Railway may differ from the Privacy Policy.
