Manga Artist Yoichi Takahashi’s Hometown Station Yotsugi Station Covered in Captain Tsubasa Artwork!
The popular Japanese manga series Captain Tsubasa is credited with having caused a football boom in Japan and influenced many football players, both in Japan and overseas.Yotsugi in Katsushika City, Tokyo, hometown of Yoichi Takahashi, the author of the original comic, is known as a sacred place within the football world.
Keisei Electric Railway wants everyone who visits Yotsugiーthis sacred spot for footballーto enjoy the world view of Captain Tsubasa from its very gateway: Yotsugi Station. With that aim in mind, Keisei Electric Railway has decorated the entire station in Captain Tsubasa artwork.
