Mt. Nokogiri features exquisite views. Board the ropeway on which you can climb its entire 680m length up to the mountaintop in just 4 minutes, and from the Sancho (summit) Station Observatory thoroughly enjoy the beautiful scenery of Tokyo Bay stretching out in front of your eyes. Views from the “Jigoku Nozoki” (View of Hell) observation deck on a rock formation jutting out into space are an absolute must-see !

A local line in Chiba Prefecture, the “Kominato Railway” whose distinctive features are the red and cream-colored cars with a charming retro-like feel to them. In spring, as the train passes between mountains, fields of rapeseed flowers can be seen on either side. The best time to view the rapeseed flowers is from the end of March to the middle of April.

The “Waterfall Tour Course” will take you hiking to 5 waterfalls, including the Awamata-no-Taki Waterfall. Full of negative ions, the waterfalls are a great way to refresh yourself. Nearby is a hot spring bath which you can visit on a day trip to alleviate fatigue.
